  23. Just as a note of moderation, while I too have and like the Epson Stylus 
  24. Colour and Endicor EnPrint combination, the printing from other 
  25. applications such as FW or IFX can not be said to be exactly....ummmm...
  26. ....transparent.

  28. Because of the limitations of the Amiga OS printer driver (4096 colours) 
  29. the EnPrint driver (like others) uses it's own means to get 24 bit print 
  30. output...this can occasionally fall afoul of dithering schemes used in 
  31. other software, though in a pinch one can always use the 'pass-thru' 
  32. EnPrint density selection and use the applications (FW's for instance)
  33. built-in routines.

  35. If anyone has actually found a way to get true 24 bit output from FW with 
  36. this combination I'd be more than grateful to be corrected.  With the 
  37. above proviso's, I still think the combination is an excellent value....I 
  38. just wish the Amiga was inherently better suited to high colour printing.
